Phil Lander Investment cc is a family run business, founded in 2017 under the leadership of Geraldo Coetzee, the great-grandson of Nicolas Philander, a Renowned Contractor in Namibia and Patriarch of the Philander family. Mr. Philander now 80, pioneered his way into the construction industry in the late 1960s, working for MaHe Construction for over 50 years, gaining a vast amount of experience in the Residential, Institutional, and Commercial construction industries.

With over 50 years in the construction Industry, Mr. Philander passed on a vast amount of Knowledge stemming from the experience he garnered over the years to all 6 of his sons. Nicky and his son’s work spread to all corners of Namibia, as well as abroad, namely Angola, South Africa, and Mozambique where they completed hundreds of Residential, Institutional, and Commercial Building Projects for his employers over the years. They have had parts in building some of Namibia’s most iconic schools, shopping centers, and Churches under his previous employer.

Nicky 80 is now a retired, Farmer, full-time Pastor, and Advisor to his grandson Geraldo Coetzee who founded the company in 2017, desiring to harness all these years of Experience and Knowledge in all aspects of the Residential, Institutional, and Commercial Construction Industry.

Against this backdrop, Geraldo Coetzee had a vision and desire to build a Construction company that would be the benchmark and close the gaps between lower, middle, and upper-class construction projects. Geraldo Coetzee thus decided to partner with four of Nicky’s sons who are also renowned leaders and construction professionals with a diverse background in the Residential, Institutional and Commercial Construction Industry, ensuring all those years of experience and Knowledge in the Construction Industry are directed and channeled into the much needed Development and Growth of our Namibian Economy.
